The elevator features a circular viewing screen in the middle of the floor and ceiling. The "stellarvator" allows guest to see the outside world via a window on the top and bottom of the capsule as they ascend from EPCOT to Space 220. As guests reach the restaurant, they exit the elevator and through a hallway where they can fresh ingredients being grown in "Growth Zone". This is a circular rotating system that is based on the vegetable-production systems found in real space stations.

When the guests enter the dining room they are instantly captured by the large windows at the edge of the restaurant the let you look out into space and see earth along with other floating objects like astronauts, space stations, and other Disney character and park easter eggs. The outside view is calibrated to show an accurate viewing of the light outside so it will day or night depending on what time of day the guests enter.
